- Business Services
The Business Services Division is dedicated to providing essential services and goods to support the University in its academic mission. A comprehensive system of diversified programs designed to satisfy the needs and expectations of the University community is provided through Business Services' self-supporting departments.
- Environmental Health and Safety
The Division of Environmental Health and Safety establishes programs to promote a safe and healthy environment in which all members of the university community can excel in education, research, and service.
- Facilities Planning and Construction
The Facilities Planning and Construction Division is responsible to the Vice President for Business Affairs for the planning and construction of all physical facilities for the University of Florida development and monitoring of its campus Master Plan and facilities information system.
- Finance and Accounting
Finance and Accounting maintains University accounting records, supervises the collection and disbursement of funds, manages the University's annual budget and prepares financial statements for the University.
- Purchasing
The mission of Purchasing is to support the purpose and goals of the University of Florida by procuring quality goods and services for use where and when needed, at the most competitive prices, ensuring the most efficient use of available resources while providing responsive and responsible service to all University departments.
- Operations Analysis
Operations Analysis manages the AdminNet Exchange/Outlook server, the Business Affairs World Wide Web server, the Business Affairs Network, and the space data management project servers.
- Physical Plant Division
Physical Plant is responsible for the operation and maintenance of more than 6.6 million square feet in over 300 Educational and General Buildings and 3.3 million square feet at the University's Health Science Center. PPD provides utility services and grounds care campus wide. The Division is organized into 14 specialized departments and employs 900+ people with a wide range of skills. In addition to the E&G facilities, PPD also operates an auxiliary enterprise to provide custodial services and maintenance and repair services to non-E&G facilities.
- Small Business and Vendor Diversity Relations
The Small Business & Vendor Diversity Relations Division is responsible for overseeing the University’s Supplier Diversity Program which focuses on ensuring equal access for Small / HUB Zone/Minority/Small Disadvantaged/ Veteran/Service-Disabled Veteran/& Women-Owned businesses, by providing them equal opportunity to compete for procurement and contracting opportunities at the University.The division works with the various colleges and departments at the University to increase awareness and to help identify opportunities for small businesses. We endeavor to seek out, identify and utilize a diverse supply of qualified vendors interested in providing the many services and products required by the University.
- Stephen C. O'Connell Center
The Stephen C. O'Connell Center is a multi-purpose facility used for recreation, educational, and entertainment events.
- University Police Department
The University Police Department is charged with campus safety and security, and provides uniformed patrol, criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, crime prevention and community services, assistance for victims, and a public information officer.
- Vice President for Business Affairs
The Vice President for Business Affairs is the chief fiscal and business officer of the University of Florida with responsibilities encompassing all campus budgetary units. The Vice President serves as fiscal and business advisor to the President of the University.
